 https://www.abc.net.au/news/2022-05-09/dennis-waterman-dies/101048514

Wow what a shock. I had just watched his last movie, Never too old last week. Glad he got to come to Australia to make this 2020 movie. I liked him in The Sweeney, Minder and New Tricks. He came across well in these characters and made the characters believable. Gone but never forgotten.

Such a shock to waken up to this very sad news this morning. I loved; On the busses, and any time it is on tv  I watch it for the nostalgia having watched it all through my childhood.

What a terrible way for Anna to die. She will always be loved and remembered in our hearts. ❤️❤️❤️

Such sad news; the passing of the man that created  Questacon. This is a fantastic cultural icon in Canberra. It’s great fun for all the family and all thanks to Professor  Michael Gore’s idea to teach kids science in a interactive hands on experience. His memory will live on and be preserved in history as a man that inspired others.

UK paramedic found dead after on line trolls accuse her of littering

 https://www.news.com.au/lifestyle/real-life/news-life/uk-paramedic-found-dead-after-online-trolls-accuse-her-of-littering/news-story/8dc5c3488fb065bb5c00edd51b7cb06a

How heartbreaking; the tragic loss of a young innocent and gentle life because of a bullies at a keyboard. How many more needless deaths will it take to hold trolls accountable? How about tracing every one of these trolls and putting them behind bars? This is sociopathic and narcissistic behaviour; it is like a disease of the soul.

This dear young woman had  her own problems; but has lovingly chosen to devote her life to helping and saving other peoples lives. This takes immense courage to do the job she did; on top of her own health issues. My heart goes out to this dear young woman and her family, their angel is gone and another beautiful light extinguished way too soon.

Somewhere there are sociopaths that must be feeling pretty damn pleased with themselves. How can a person just shrug off the damage that they caused and just carry on as if nothing happened?  But that is what a troll does, they walk away from the horrific damage for others to pick up the pieces of a broken heart. That sort of person is a danger to society and heaven knows what other mayhem they will unleash on other innocent lives.

My the universe bestow all it’s blessings and love on you for all eternity Charlotte 🌹🌹🌹

Goodbye Garfield our beautiful boy

Garfield AKA Chiffy loved boxes of any size or style

This afternoon I had to rush Garfield to the vet, he has been ill for a while but fought it all the way.  I have spent several weeks nursing him and trying to make his life as comfortable as possible. He had such a strong will to live which did not help him in the end. Such a wonderful loving little soul, he was just the most loving and adorable little chap  and always a pleasure to be around.

Tonight we are nursing broken hearts without him. Even our vet was very upset at saying goodbye to Chiffy as we call him most of the time.

Garfield will live on in our hearts and watch over us until we meet again. If there is such a thing as a pure soul animals are most definitely pure souls.

The pure and unconditional love from animals is beyond compare. Thank you Chiffy for choosing daddy and I for your human parents. Xxx

Garfield comes home

NOTE: I thought that I had transferred this from my old blog, I don't know how I missed this

http://alexfulfordclairvoyantmedium.blogspot.com/2019/11/garfield-comes-home.html

My precious darling kitty boy has come home today. Last night I was dreaming about a ginger mummy cat at my maternal grandmother’s house. The mummy cat was in a cardboard box in my grandmother's shed with her kittens.

I insisted on seeing them all, and I noticed a male tabby cat there too. The daddy cat, he was out and about and looked like our late Slinky. It was a rather strange dream, because my gran didn’t like cats much. She had a bad experience as a child that affected her. So it was odd that she was the one showing me the kittens, she seemed reluctant at first.

RIP Jonathan Coleman

So sad to hear of Jono's passing, this came as a shock to me this afternoon. I loved him on Simon Townsend's wonderworld. That was a great kids show back in the day and he became the main attraction due to his fun personality. The world is a darker place without his humour and cheeky smile.  He will be missed by all of his fans and everyone that knew him. Rest in peace Jono, you are one of a kind and a true Aussie with a big heart.

Four dead in terrorists attack as driver runs over Muslim family in London, Ontario

 https://www.abc.net.au/news/2021-06-08/canada-attack-four-muslims-dead-ontario/100197174

This is horrible, something is wrong with humanity, when acts of sheer evil happen like this.

Innocent people that are just minding their own business and living their lives being killed in cold blood. My heart goes out to their loved ones and I pray the young boy makes a good recovery.

Daisy comes home

Our beloved little Daisy came home today, longer than expected but we are just glad to have her home.

Daisy brought so much love and joy into our lives in her 17 years of life. She has such an inner strength with her, So I dubbed her the Empress Mouse Dolly. May you for ever live in our hearts Daisy, we love you so much.

Goodbye Miss Daisy: Empress Mouse Dolly

It has been a sad and long journey for us over the past few months watching poor little Daisy get sicker and sicker. We just had that inkling yesterday that something was going to happen.

We had been taking it in turn to sleep beside her at night over the weekend and praying that she wouldn’t get any worse. Yesterday though, hubby and I had to duck out to the shop to get more cat milk and liquid protein cat food. But when we got home our son said Daisy was wandering about looking for us. Her breathing was very laboured too.

We could hear and feel her chest was rattling as she started having respiratory problems,  so we rang the vet and said this is it, we are on our way. They are only five minutes away, literally.

Sure enough the vet said yes it’s time. We were so upset at her going so quickly. Funny how after knowing she doesn’t have long to live, one is just never prepared emotionally.

Daisy is a strong little kitty girl, her heart was strong but her tiny little body was so weak and frail. But Daisy put up a fight to the end. I told the vet , that we have always called her our little Boadicea.  As she has always been a strong girl and a fighter for survival.

When I bought Daisy 17 years ago in a pet shop. I didn’t know she was only four weeks old and some evil human took her away from her mother way too soon, just to make a lousy buck. When we took her to our vet we were informed that she was only four weeks old. Daisy had eaten some big kitty food by accident and it caused an intestinal blockage, so I had to feed her watered down kitten milk to help her. The vet said she may not survive, but she did. Two weeks later I had three kittens give to me to find homes for.

Now at this stage we had two dogs and three cats. Daisy being the new baby. But Lo and behold we ended up keeping the ginger boy, that’s our beautiful Garfield. He was just a few weeks older than Daisy.

Now when Daisy first set eyes on Garfield she walked over to him and belter the crap out of him. Poor little Garfield didn’t know what hit him. He never had that from his two sisters.

That set in motion a life long shit stir from Garfield. Every night for years an orange and grey furry knot rolled up and down the hallway and into the family room. Hissing and yowling, we had to keep out of the way or get our ankles scratched in the crossfire, lol.

I can’t believe that both of them are gone now, within 12 months of each other. All of this was going through my mind at the vet yesterday as we were preparing to put our beautiful little girl to sleep. As she slipped away , I saw a white vortex open up  on her body and could see her sort of being sucked out of her body.

Next there was a purple colour over the vortex that was opened on her body and suddenly she shot off and the vortex just disappeared in the blink of an eye. It was so surreal but sad too, my baby  girl was gone.

I held her little body wrapped in one of her soft blankets for a while and then hubby and I left the vet’s office rather tearful. We love and miss our Empress Daisy so much. There will never be an other quite like her. But of course every animal or fur baby is special and wonderful, so full of love and innocence how can one not love every single one of them.

Oh on a final note, we used to joke that Daisy kept a quarter of a brick in her handbag to slug her brother Garfield with if the mood took her. 🤣🤣

Skyhooks, Horror movie its the 6.30 news

 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XljmO_KPQaM&feature

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skyhooks_(band)

I grew up listening to these guys, from when I first came to Australia in 1973, aged 10. They were such an iconic band and still are. I remember Shirl being on a kids tv show called Shirl’s neighbourhood.

In later years he was on a DIY  tv show and then in 2001, he was killed in a helicopter crash. A very sad day for Aussie music. Then we had the loss of  Peter  Starkie  on September 16, 2020, he fell from a ladder aged 72.

Red Symons had a close call not so long ago , which is in the ABC link below, under related stories.

https://www.abc.net.au/news/2020-09-16/founding-skyhooks-guitarist-peter-starkie-dies/12668908

You can watch Skyhooks videos on YouTube, and hopefully become a fan. Australia was an awesome place growing up in the 70s.

Koalas are found starving and dying of thirst after bushfires destroyed their habitat - as video shows one desperate animal drinking from a hose

 https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7828659/Adelaide-Hills-bushfire-New-threat-koalas-ravaged-STARVING-death.html

The loss of lives and horrific injuries to the animals is gut wrenching. I can’t stand to see this suffering. I saw some of the fire damage yesterday as I drove up to visit my father. I can’t praise the fire fighters enough for the work they do.

Some of whom have lost homes while helping others. That is a common occurrence in the bushfire season. Just so unfair on all that have suffered.

UPDATE MARCH 1, 2021 when this article was first posted , we had no idea how bad this would become. Right through into March 2020 Then straight into lockdown, Australia was shattered by the events of the summer of 2019/2020.
