Another great find from ancient times, there is still so much more to discover from our ancient past. It’s a gift that keeps on giving. 

I hope this inspires people to read Irish mythology and folklore. There is so much to learn and enjoy in ancient mythology of the ancient Celts. A good book to read is written by Charles Squire called mythology of ancient Britain and Ireland. Which is available in kindle, hardcover or paperback on Amazon. I bought the paperback version back in the 1990’s and have the kindle version too. 

Australian Capital Territory (ACT) 2028 Elections

 Just a very short reading on the current mayhem in Canberra, and 2 years is a long way off. 

What I feel and see in the cards is our Chief Minister has been planning his exit for a little while now.

Recently appointing Rachel Stevens-Smith to the position of deputy Chief Minister, I see this as a poisoned chalice and she has a target on her back.  The Australian Labor Party has been in office 25 continuous years come October 2026. It is time for a change of leadership, but this comes in 2 steps.

Firstly I do feel that Andrew Barr will step down as our Chief Minister by summer this year, there is a very strong energy of movement around him as in something happening very quickly. The winds of change are picking up speed due to current events unfolding. 

In the meanwhile we are in for more financial problems and there is a strong Neptune/Pisces energy affecting the leadership of the ATC -ALP. The public have been continually let down and feel the ACT is ruined with crippling debt and crime. 

It is apparent that the Chief Minister believes his own fantasies and expects the public to believe them too. That is the influence of Pisces and Neptune, chaos is all around the ALP leadership. Mr Barr holds on to his seat and rules as he sees fit, but unable to see the reality (King of Cups). With the recent transfer of Rachel Stevens-Smith from her portfolio to the deputy Chief Minister she seems to be the one left to steer the sinking ship. Mr Barr feels she is the right person for the Deputy CM role and feels she can leed the territory in a positive direction. He feels highly confident is her abilities and this is him rewarding her for her previous role.  I do feel that Mr Barr will hand over leadership of the government to her as the next Chief Minister of the ACT and reader of the ALP. 

While this seems like an offer too good to refuse it is anything but. The winds of change indicate otherwise. ANdrew Barr is preparing to move on and leave Canberra. He lo longer lives here as it is, He commutes from Melbourne. So is he actually throwing this woman under the bus to deflect blame for poor leadership and shoot through? The ALP does not have much in the way of leadership and is relying on outdated practices and then pass the baton to the next unfortunate person. Current public scrutiny of current events as of July 2026 show a quick effort to block opposition and fend off scrutiny. Time is short and they need to act quickly, due to legal scrutiny and justice pressures they are trying hard to avoid. 

SO this is now a major turning point for the territory government and the beginning of the end. Who ever takes the leadership will have to act swiftly and focus on the economy, which is a very difficult job no matter who has to deal with it. The territory is broke and millions of dollars in debt and it is only half way through the current government's leadership. So I do feel Rachel Stevens-Smith will end up in the hot seat temporarily until the elections in October 2028.  Rachel Stevens Smith is skilled in dodging hard questions, but she will be the one to step up to answer the awkward questions, and no one else is game to step up to do the job either.

A ship of fools, the current government lurch from one disaster to another under ANdrew Barr, under this deceptive Neptune energy he makes a sweet offer in the form of deputy to Ms Stevens-Smith. Sadly she cannot see the target on her back and things are about to get real. Beware of politicians bearing gifts! 

I do not feel this is a benevolent gesture at all, it is more like a saving your own skin exercise., come in spinner. With all the changes going on Andrew Barr has set his sights further afield and will leave Canberra permanently. I do feel he will quit politics entirely with a sizable financial reward. While leaving the territory in massive financial debt. Rest assured he has a golden future ahead of him. 

The replacement leader has to face the public with a massive financial debt, but spin  is laid on thick with absolute confidence to please the gullible voters. I do believe the time has come for labor to admit defeat come the elections and crying martyrdom licking their wounds. Explain that to the homeless please!  

I do see a new beginning after the elections with the new leadership struggling with the massive financial debt. This is going to be extremely hard work and this is on top of the federal debt at the same time. We will be in for unbelievable pain and suffering. There is no other way to do this but hardship will be endured until we are out of this massive debt.

Now I don't feel the Liberal government when they come into power will be totally competent especially giving the entire nation is in crisis too, but they will give it a damn good go. They will improve the public debt. Just remember that this takes time, so we must be patient. 

I do feel the Liberals will put hard questions to the ALP in parliament and they are not in the mood to tolerate the ALP, knowing that they are corrupt and the Liberals will also be under public pressure to fix the damage. The light rail system will stall again as will housing. This is due to the massive debt  and the rapid rising population.

I decided to have a look at  Canberra Liberal Party leader Mark Parton today. As I was also looking at the next elections due in 2028. Currently the Australian Labor Party have been the long term government in the Australian Capital Territory since  October 2001. It will be 25 years of continuous rule for Labor come October 2026. It's time for a change.

So I did a reading on Mark Parton this morning 30 July 2026, and doing a 25 card spread it was quite illuminating. Please bear in mind, this is how the cards stand at this point in time and nothing is ever set in stone. I am not a political person and I know nothing about politics either.

Mark is also on the cusp of Virgo, so this also gives him a good analytical mind. He is very thorough and passionate in whatever he does, this man is a winner.

All that I can tell you from his date of birth alone. Now turning to the cards, the cards show that Mark is meant to be in politics, this is where he will shine. He will overcome any opposition with his strong Mercurial energy and can run rings around his opposition. Mark has a quick intellect  as a classic Libra/Virgo cusp, he is a highly analytical person  and the cards show a strong Pisces/Neptune energy around him at present, he has a powerful message to bring to the ACT and will leave a lasting legacy and heritage to the territory. 

I do see good news around him which is through his sheer hard work and family support his dreams and hopes.  Mark is very much a family man, he dreams big but must listen to his intuition. Right now Mark is going through deep reflection and seeking answers to many things. My advice to Mark is to listen to sound  advice when it's given as politics is a balancing act, Mark can then use  his natural diplomatic abilities with this sound adivce to his advantage. 

Looking at the cards, I see Mark must tap into the energy of the Emperor card as this makes him a wise and thoughtful leader. Seize the day Mark and go all the way! Right now Canberra needs practical and down to earth leadership and you do have the skills and  talent to do this. With strong leadership and stamina to see this through. 

This is a new beginning for Mark, the last chapter is closed now, and this is him stepping up to his most important role in life now. So far he has been getting the hang of politics, and now he is moving up to the higher level as Chief Minister in 2028. 

Mark is able to disarm his opposition with charm and grace, he is a natural leader and now is the time to answer your true calling. Mark needs to let go of any possible fears and anxieties  he may have about being able to fulfil this position as they are only illusionary. On a final note, Mark cares very much about Canberra and the environment, and will make a thoughtful and well respected Chief Minister. Coming into office at the worst possible time with a broken system deeply in debt. This is a very tough job to do and it will require a long slow recovery. Mark has a genuine love for Canberra and  deep concern for the public safety and wellbeing. Keep in mind  the massive debt to turn around is not a pleasant way to start the new leadership role.  We must give Mark and the Liberal party enough time to sort this economic disaster out and get us out of debt. 

You can do this Mark, just have faith in yourself, and do not allow any self doubt to cross your mind. You are the man for the job.

This is interesting information, having been diagnosed with fibromyalgia myself, and I have a male relative the sufferers from this too. This is a very interesting discovery with the genetic link to Huntington’s disease. 

I hope that doctors are reading up on the latest findings and obviously more ongoing research is going to continue. Hopefully a cure won’t be too far away. The exhaustion from this can be so debilitating just as much as the pain.

Poor lady going through this, any leaks from the breast is a red flag any woman knows this. Then discovering it’s gone into her lymphatic system, how heartbreaking. Mammograms are only done because it’s cheap. I am very firmly against mammograms because they put such pressure on delicate breast tissue that can cause damage to the soft tissue. Not just that though, any cyst within the tissue can rupture and leak causing more harm. Not to mention how painful the procedure is, that alone tells you it isn’t right. An ultrasound is only good for certain things, other than that you should have an MRI. I was told this by my GP years ago for this exact reason. MRI’s are not cheap so that’s why they are not usually done on women’s breasts. I was told it would cost over $500 a few years ago if I wanted it done. This can put it out of  some women’s reach unfortunately. That should not be allowed to happen, it’s supposed to help save a life. 

 Women are often dismissed by doctors, who if they are male have no experience in what it’s like being a woman. How can they understand our hormones and what is really happening within a woman’s body when they have absolutely very little knowledge and experience in women’s health care. This does cost lives all too often. 

I have had fibrous breasts  since I was 19 and I mostly had ultrasounds due to the density of the tissue and  severe pain with constant inflammation. I knew not to have mammograms as I was always aware of the harm they can do. I was very slim and small build so most of my life too. Not one doctor wanted to investigate to see why I was having all these problems. They were totally stumped to explain what was wrong. 

This poor lady though has been through such suffering and she should only have MRI’s due to the dense tissue. I am so glad that she went to the media with her experience and I pray that she has a good health outcome and no more recurring problems. It certainly pays to be vigilant with one’s health and press the doctor to investigate further.

This is just wrong full stop! One thing they always forget is, what happens when there is no internet connection available? What are they going to do then, how will you read a digital copy? It’s just the same with physical currency, if you don’t have cold hard cash when the lines go down at the shop, the chemist or paying for fuel you are in for a bad time. Rural areas often have problems with internet and telephone lines. There are often dead spots where the signal is weak and struggles for a connection, so whether it’s accessing your bank account or going online to read you need to think about what to do if you can’t get access. 

People seem to lack the critical thinking skills when it comes to power outages, natural disasters or wars. If you can’t access your banking, reading material or anything that needs internet, or even electricity to function and recharge your electrical goods such as your phone, your laptop etc, then you are in trouble. 

Maybe you get rid of books and swap to a kindle or reading through an app. That would be a huge mistake, just because you can doesn’t mean you should, as the saying goes. Common sense means planning for such situations where you don’t have any electricity or there is an internet disruption lasting hours or a few days. 

But destroying these old books is a whole new level entirely, we recall historically Hitler burning books. But this is on a massive scale,  historical books so rare that once gone are gone for good. Some books are very valuable as collector items too. Does this mean they would destroy these books? Unlikely because they are in the hands of collectors who would never part with the books. But old obscure books are the target here, some have valuable information that will be gone forever unless people actually know the titles to search for them. On a data base or cloud that may eventually need more storage space they could be deleted and that’s them gone forever. A world based on machines and technology is not the sort of world many people want either. 

There is so much to lose with this insatiable demand for a brave new world order. The world emerging is not designed for proper hands on real life experiences, like the feel of a book. Especially an old book handed down for the next generation to enjoy. The style of writing and the language of another time gives real feeling to a book, whether it’s a novel or a non fiction book, even science books from the early 20th century are important as a reference point of how people thought at that point in time. 

The quality of the materials used to produce the books, the author, the country and year of publication are also important. There is so much human history to a book that technology cannot comprehend nor convey to the reader. What it feels like to hold a very old book, the smell of the pages, that dusty odour of the years, that stimulates the senses when we pick up a very old book is all part of the experience and pleasure we feel having such a tactile experience. 

Point to keep in mind is, if there is money to be made in this, then they definitely will do this in Australia eventually, as it is its full steam ahead building data centres. So I am sure it’s not that far off unless the government actively does something to prevent this. But it’s all down to money, manipulation and who is able to lean on the government to get what they want. The Australian government is a pushover when it comes to money and disregarding the public’s wishes and rights. 

People these days also feel life is losing all meaning as the Australian government sells out to the highest bidder, allowing other countries to bully them into submission on any given issue. The loss of millions of old books up to 2022 is rewriting history too. Those at the top of this can and will redact whatever they feel like doing. It is very important to hold on to books especially non fiction educational materials. Then such things as the arts, poetry and classical literature must be preserved for future generations and for reference purposes.

The Australian government has always been slow at keeping up with the rest of the developed world in food production laws and what is acceptable in food production. 

Some of the foods could be harmful to people especially if incorrectly labeled or having harmful substances that some people are highly allergic to,  and are not listed on the label. This may have serious health consequences, such as seafood products in a particular product that should not have it in the first place. Think of the pre made ingredients that come in a jar to make Chinese food. That is even used in restaurants to cook with also.  You can’t always buy individual ingredients to cook with these days and in a restaurant they can’t always guarantee the food will not contain something that you may be allergic to. Add to that the country of origin and especially if the goods are made in unsatisfactory conditions. 

Menthanol and ethanol in spirits is one of the things popping up in the news lately, with young people being poisoned with high amounts of ethanol in what they assume is a legitimate alcoholic beverage while on overseas holidays. That can cause very serious illnesses, blindness or the death of the young person, as we have seen recently in the Australian news with teenagers being made ill. Methanol is a different substance and highly toxic it should not be in alcohol. 

It seems we don’t really know what we are consuming when buying our groceries and the government is clearly not doing its job by making sure everything manufacturers produce is what it claims to be, nor is the real country of origin always being revealed. Frozen vegetables in Australia for instance are sometimes labelled products of New Zealand and are not really from New Zealand, a legal loophole permits products from China to send their products to New Zealand and be packaged there and then sent to Australia, that has been happening for many years.

Dreams about cats

I wonder how often people dream about cats, I dream about them all the time and I am a serious cat lover. Flo is my go to lady for dream interpretations and she never disappoints me. Last night I dreamt that my family and I went to a fundraiser event for cats with all sorts of amazing things for sale. In amongst the goods were cats sleeping or curled up looking sweet. 

It was a happy dream, my cat dreams are always very happy thankfully, and there is so much taking place within the dream to decipher so I have to take note as quickly as possible and then google the meanings.

It’s all about the energy and there is definitely an archonic or reptilian energy connected to the house drawing people to it. I don’t feel that turning the house into a police station will change anything unfortunately. Well this is another one of those interesting experiences when I am grounding. It doesn’t happen all the time, but lately it’s a regular occurrence. Today I was just going through my regular routine and suddenly hearing a voice within me saying Dogon Star. The voice sounded like my own voice, so I would say that is my higher self rather than a guide which would sound different. Dogon relates to the dog star,  Canis major, a constellation in the Southern hemisphere skies, and also connected to the Dogon people of Mali in Western Africa. The constellation of Canis Major is contains the star Sirius. Sirius is also known as the Dog Star. 

So it’s quite a profound experience for me, meaning a shift to a higher consciousness within me. Humans have a deep spiritual connection to Sirius and the Orion system which many spiritual authorities have written about over the years, even as far back as the ancient Egyptian and biblical times. Most spiritual sites around the world are aligned to Sirius and Orion, especially Newgrange in Ireland which predates the pyramids of Egypt.

Another great actor leaves the stage of life, taking his final curtain call aged 90. He has given audiences so much over the long decades and was a favourite actor of many people. I vividly recall watching all the shows mentioned and films that Terence was in,. Watching Division 4, a police drama back in the early 70's was a must watch when I first came to Australia, as it was a highly popular modern show in it's time. 

Terence was part of that golden era of television that is still loved and remembered by many Australians today. Nothing can compare to those days golden days of Australian television. 

Rest in peace Terence Donovan and thank you for all the years dedicated to entertaining the world. My condolences to all the family.

Tarot Card of the Month: August 2026, 2 of Swords

 

This is a very sensitive month coming up so be careful. I feel a crushing power and a tidal wave as I look at the card followed by a huge sunset. August will be a very emotional and tense month for many globally. We will be seeing difficulties and a closed off attitude, where emotions will affect the thought process, leading to a lack of proper insight. Politically we will see a defensive attitude and standoffs are indicated. I do not see any resolution to the Iran crisis either.  For any semblance of a breakthrough, concessions need to be made, however that is unlikely to happen. Everyone has their guard up and highly defensive stances are the order of the day. 

The Middle East is very tense and the leaders of these nations are very nervous, afraid of escalating tensions with Iran. Iran will definitely not back down either, instead they are more emboldened with their power demanding respect from everyone around them.  This is one hell of a hornets nest that has been kicked over. 

I do not feel the US will be in the mood for tolerating Iran either, however they need to be careful of unintentionally upsetting other nations. Their natural allies are very unsure of what to do here and prefer to stay neutral. 

I see the Union Jack flag and I am drawn to the government trying to avoid provocation, Keir Starmer   transfers power to Andy Burnham reluctantly and gives him a cold reception. Burnham is very guarded in what he says as he takes up his new role. I feel he will ease into the role very carefully at first, though will set out his intentions. England first? What about the rest of the UK? 

I do feel he will look after the north of England, which is often neglected by politicians. I feel there will be new jobs for the north of England not manufacturing in the normal sense, more like technology. I also feel Mr Burnham will look after the NHS, and will try to fix the damage done. This will be a slow process though, I feel it will take a few years to turn things around. 

I do feel hospital admissions will be in the news in August. I also see authority being challenged and a stubborn attitude is prevalent. Expect to see the stubborn side of Mr Trump. 

My advice is do not provoke others in August or they may come out swinging. There is a highly defensive vibe throughout the month. 

I hear the words "access denied",  this feels like in a couple of areas, such as internet access, internet passwords could be stolen. Make sure you have at least 2 step authentication. The other access denied feels like refused entry into a country or an establishment. Foreign travel should be factored into the access denied; as people are getting fed up with rude and disrespectful tourists. 

I feel there is bad news for Australia in August, there seems to be some sort of political upset with the public. People will be voicing their displeasure over violent behaviour; as the government again fails to hold criminals accountable. This also feels like anti immigration, religious and cultural tensions building up again. Youth crimes are again in the spotlight sparking more outrage, as no government is actually capable or willing to get tough on these perpetrators. This will have a massive backfire later on as young gangs power up within the next 2 years due to government negligence. 

Parental accountability declines due to mind games between parents and the authorities over who has the responsibility to discipline these kids, as a parent can be prosecuted for smacking their kids. Therefore the kids know their rights and the laws, which are clearly not working as a deterrent or properly enforced.  

I see more shops closing due to financial difficulties and crime. 

France is in the news over violent protests again. Russia faces an intensifying  global backlash and Mr Putin is very nervous and withdrawn. He is likely to fire more staff and military leaders in anger as Ukraine stepps up the attacks on Russia. I do not see a win for Russia, nor do I see anyone telling Putin the country is losing the war. Putin will keep pushing his authority until everyone snaps. Expect a full political meltdown by Christmas. Putin will be looking for someone to blame, Yikes!

Mr Zelensky of Ukraine will be feeling more confident in closing the war as a victor, but there are no winners in reality. The only winner is the grim reaper. 

I do feel there is a serious issue with submarines or boats, I feel this is related to Australia and someone has dropped the ball here. Security?? More attention to the coastline is needed now. Spend the money now and get this sorted Albo! I feel illusion and refusing to see reality is the problem here and it is not just in national defense, its across the board with the government and idle minds lead to mistakes.  

There is a strong feeling of apathy with the ordinary people of the world, now more than at any other time in recent memory. People are closed off and shunning the outside world, there are more mental health problems arising and in many cases going untreated. 

August is a month of very sensitive energy, especially around women and family issues. Take the right steps to look at what is happening within your family. Open up more and take the time to ask loved ones how they are really feeling. They may pretend to be ok or be guarded so watch for the signs, read between the lines. You may not actually be able to do much but at least being aware is helpful. 

Expect news from foreign countries, espionage, spying and intelligence issues. I hear the words “trans-atlantic” news. 

I do not feel August is a good month for agreements to be made as many leaders are standoffish due to uncertainty in both international affairs and in business.

Space news is highlighted in an unusual way for August. 

Finally, please again keep your eyes on your children for safety, emotional outbursts and violence.

My flight was being served by an obviously gay flight attendant, who seemed to put everyone in a good mood as he served us food and drinks..

As the plane prepared to descend, he came swishing down the aisle and told us that 

'Captain Marvey has asked me to announce that he'll be landing the big scary plane shortly, so lovely people, if you could just put your trays up, that would be super.' 
On his trip back up the aisle, he noticed this well-dressed and rather Arabic looking woman hadn't moved a muscle.

'Perhaps you didn't hear me over those big brute engines but I asked you to raise your trazy-poo, so the main man can pitty-pat us on the ground.' 
She calmly turned her head and said, 'In my country, I am called a Princess and I take orders from no one.' 
To which (I swear) the flight attendant replied, without missing a beat, 
'Well, sweet-cheeks, in my country I'm called a Queen, so I outrank you. Tray-up, Bitch!'

Mother’s washing day, Monday

 

The story of my life, it’s usually a MIA sock and I find it later. 🤣🤣 The worst thing is a tissue in the washing machine. That is the major trigger for me and it’s always from my husband 🤣🤣🤧

Wow, I was just checking my emails and this suddenly popped up. That was such a shock to see, his suffering is over now and he has a new adventure beginning on the other side of life. I remember Sam in the Omen tv series back in 1981, and then suddenly he was a big star.
