The red haired giants are the Tutha de Danann of ancient Ireland and possibly the Fomorians. These red headed giants got around and can be traced to America too. Notice the name Orian/Orion in the word fomorian. Orion the constellation and Or meaning light in Hebrew. Rather interesting is it not.
They were not the only giants though, at different times there were the tall blond Nordic giants found in random locations like New Zealand and even China, though they were not as tall as the red haired giants.
