Please read the links above for information, this is very informative reading and worth keeping in mind. Medical astrology is a highly valuable skill to have and something that I take very seriously. You will see a bibliography at the bottom of the article in the first link for further information.
Key things to remember, if possible are, avoid surgery when there is a solar or lunar eclipse, Mars, Moon, Mercury are retrograde, the 1st house ruled by Mars and Aries, which is the first house of life and the 6th house ruled by Venus and Virgo, which rules health.
This practice was used for thousands of years and only in relatively modern times, (18th Century) was it stopped. Hippocrates (the father of modern medicine) was famous for warning of the real dangers of death and massive blood loss in surgery due to the planetary arrangements at certain times of the month. His famous for saying, "touch not with iron that part of the body ruled by sign the moon is transiting".
There is also verifiable evidence to support why surgery should be postponed a few days depending on what sort of surgery is being performed and the correlation to the Moon, Mars, the Sun and other astrological influences that are detrimental to the body. Each body part and organ is ruled by a specific planet. Then one needs to know which planets are in retrograde and how that affects you individually
It is worth asking a qualified astrologer what days are good for the type of surgery that you need so that you can plan for the surgery. Please bear in mind that a person can die even if the surgery is 100% successful. Any surgeon will automatically advise their patient of the risk during the initial consultation. Thankfully most surgeries are highly successful, so do not be afraid of having surgery.
The cause of death after successful surgery is down to the astrological influence, not any surgical error and that is something that modern doctors cannot explain. Unless they have a belief in astrology, such as Vedic astrology which is a very good and reliable Indian astrological practice.
One needs to know what planet rules the part of the body that requires surgery when one is about to undergo invasive surgery, it also helps if you know your actual time of birth; although a rough chart can be made by using the date of birth and place of birth, and it also comes down to the astrologers skill and experience in formulating a chart for surgery.
My husband was very fortunate that I was aware of these things two years ago when he had life saving surgery. Thankfully Mercury had passed retrograde and there was no full moon either.

This is the best days of the week for surgery, it's Vedic astrology but there is a western equivalent to Vedic and Sidereal astrology. All are accurate and equally good it's basically down to preference. I prefer western as the words are easier to pronounce.
I hope you find this interesting and perhaps you may even consider learning astrology, even if it's only for personal use. Did you know that the actress Pauline Moran from the TV show Poirot is an astrologer? I am an even bigger fan of hers knowing this.
