We are having unseasonal weather this year, which is part of the effect of it being a Fire Horse year. The element of fire and the planet Mars which is the ruler of the first house of the zodiac is an intense dry influence. So we can expect hotter than normal summer this year in both the northern hemisphere and the southern hemisphere this year. Australia can expect a slightly more mild winter through to August. Before the summer scorcher starts due to the prevailing astrological effects, so don't plant heat sensitive plants as you will run up a big water bill. The rain we have experienced in Australia this year is influenced by Neptune; the watery planet being in Aries in the first house of the zodiac implying plenty rain and humidity.
There are a few planets in the first house which are, Neptune in Aries in the first house (water, rain, floods, ice) until 23 March 2039. Saturn is in Aries currently until 13 February 2028, Pluto in Aquarius in the first house, which is known for its disruptive patterns. and Pluto will be in Aquarius until 2044. Pluto is known as a highly disruptive planet, with its breakdown and rebuild transformative power, so in weather patterns it shows highly destructive weather patterns.
Aquarius is known for being sudden and unexpected and is also violent, so here we see the potential for very destructive storms and weather events more than usual. Incidentally Aquarius's ruler Uranus is notorious for earthquakes activity. Saturn which is ruled by the element of earth, represents the cooling effect and in Aries (hot) we get sudden extremes of weather and natural disasters. Saturn being the great malefic and like Uranus, it is associated with earthquakes which are severe.
Mars, the little hottie planet is hot, dry and intense, meaning its highly destructive with droughts being highly likely in some regions. This influence brings electrical storms, with a dry intense heat we are more prone to bushfires.
All of this shows unusual and severe weather patterns for the year are indicated, which are unpredictable and highly destructive storms. So we just need to learn to adapt to the weather patterns and plan accordingly.
I am glad that this winter won't be as cold this year, as I get older I struggle with aches and pains like all the other dinosaurs out there, lol.
