I want to share some old photos from my youth in Sydney that may resonate with people from back in the day. I had a lovely friend Debbie, whose then husband was in a band called the Klerks, and I used to travel with my friend from western Sydney over to Mossman to see the band at the Mossman Hotel back in the early 1980's. The Mossman Hotel was one of the great places to see a gig back in the day and was always busy.
The Klerks members were Noel Wicks, David Wicks, Bill Highway and John Heath. You can find their music on YouTube if you would like to hear it. I actually have one of their singles still, it's a bit of Sydney music history that I treasure. I took a few photos of the band playing at the Mossman hotel and gave some photos to my friend and I still have my originals in among my old photos from all these years ago.
Hopefully by sharing these old pics on line, someone that knew the band from back in the old days will enjoy this little trip down memory lane. I did pass a copy on to a family member of one of the band members for family history. Good memories, these photos are just taken from my printer with the white edging.
